I am writing to inquire about a consult regarding my ex employer. After 4 yrs and 3 mths I was surprised with being released from my position without cause and supposedly because they are eliminating my position. This puts me in a serious financially precarious situation as well as in terms of my significant need for health insurance and healthcare. This employer has pattern and track record for poor treatment of employees and obvious retribution when employees have spoken up about concerns, requests, and attempts to start dialogue about poor work culture and practices. Is there anything that can be pursued against such an unethical employer? Or is it a hopeless fight? I can speak in detail about my experience and I could also include numerous other past employees/co-workers that would share their experiences and treatment. I want to know if this is worth pursuing or if it is a waste of out time.
