Good afternoon, I received a traffic ticket for careless driving that I just paid this morning, I also faxed a request for a hearing date for a hit and run felony to the clerk of court this morning and was told that they will mail me a court date, I am currently unemployed and have no income and my question is do I need to have an attorney represent me when I go to court for the felony hit and run charge.
