VLJ provides free legal aid for qualifying people with the following legal services:
Evictions, People suing you, divorces, bankruptcy, driver's license restoration assistance, criminal record expungement.
Mission Statement: The mission of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice is to ensure access to justice for people experiencing poverty. We do this by providing free tools, advice, and pro bono representation to those with limited economic means.
Many attorneys that assist low income person(s), charge on a sliding fee schedule. For that reason we have added the latest federal poverty levels below so that you can see how much you may be charged if you use this attorney.
